Four Winds is an owner-occupied historic residence. Limited short-term guest accommodations are offered within portions of the home. These policies apply to all guest spaces.

The property is primarily and continuously used as the owner's private residence.

How it works: Your keypad code is sent the day before you arrive. No one to meet, no schedule to match — walk in when you're ready after 3:00 PM and the space is yours.

Pets

Where pets are allowed Burke Trammel Cottage and Judge Roy Bean Cottage only
Where pets are NOT allowed Main-house suites (James Butler Bonham Suite, Sam Rayburn Suite, Bailey Inglish Suite)
Pet fee $40 per stay — flat, not per night and not per pet
Maximum pets 2 pets per stay
Size limit None — all sizes welcome in pet-friendly cottages
How to add pets Add pets during the reservation process so the fee is applied correctly at booking
One thing to know: Add your pets when you reserve — not after. That's how the $40 fee gets applied correctly and there are no adjustments to sort out at check-in.

Rates vary by date. The nightly rate shown when you select your dates is the rate — no cleaning fee added at the end, no deposit held. What you see is what you pay, plus applicable taxes.

State short-term rental tax remittance compliance does not alter the property's residential zoning classification.

Cottages Back lot behind each cottage — 1 dedicated spot per unit
Overflow parking Available in the back lot

Towing At owner's discretion

Parking is included — no fee, no permit needed. Each unit has one dedicated spot. If you're arriving with a second vehicle, a trailer, or an RV, the overflow back lot can accommodate. Park in a way that doesn't block other units' spots.

Cancellation
